Two of Paimio’s four museums – Paimio Electrical Museum and Miila Craft Museum – have their own museum shops. Our distinctive selection includes both products designed by the museums and carefully chosen specialty items.
We are particularly committed to supporting local craftspeople from Southwest Finland by offering products made by small independent makers, including ceramics, jewellery, household items and greeting cards. At Paimio Electrical Museum, you will also find books on electrical technology, Paimio-themed books and jewellery, as well as the museum’s own T-shirts. During opening hours, visitors to the August Pyölniittu Museum can also purchase books, postcards, T-shirts and tote bags.
By shopping in our museum shops, you support the work of Paimio’s museums, including the care of museum collections, research and exhibitions.
If you create handmade products that you would like to sell in our museum shops, we would be happy to hear from you. We regularly update our product selection, so please feel free to contact the museum staff.
We offer guided tours at our museums throughout the year. Each tour is tailored to suit the interests and needs of your group.
Our indoor museum spaces can accommodate groups of up to 25 people at a time. Larger groups are therefore typically divided between Paimio electrical museum and Miila Craft Museum.
Please contact us to learn more about our guided tours or to book a visit.
