Blessed with a rich cultural and natural heritage, Paimio combines urban living with distinctive country character, excellent leisure and recreation opportunities.

Guided bus tours are arranged for travellers, or, if you prefer, you can explore the beauty of the surrounding Finnish countryside and the numerous fabulous sights of Paimio at your own pace by bike, canoe, or on foot. For leisure travellers wishing to stay overnight, local Bed and Breakfast, or self-catering accommodation is available, and we are only 20 minutes away from the hotels of Turku, as well. Due to the junction of E18, the fastest and most up-to-date motorway in Finland, Paimio lies conveniently within a short driving distance of Turku (30 km/18 miles), Helsinki (135 km/84 miles), and other large cities of Finland.
